About Valerie Glover

Valerie Glover has maintained a professional art practice since graduating from Curtin University with a Fine Arts Degree in 2002.  She has developed a distinctive abstract approach to her work over the last few years.  She uses techniques from various disciplines including painting and print making and is always challenging and extending her artistic abilities.

Val has been exhibiting for more than 20 years, with 8 solo shows and more than 20 group exhibitions in Australia, Canada and Italy. Her work is in the public collections of the City of South Perth, Town of Cambridge, Trinity College and Chisholm College.  She won the city of South Perth Art Prize (2003) and the Town of Cambridge Art Prize and was an entrant in the 2021 Archibald Prize.
